Food Waste Management
- We donate excess food to soup kitchens
- We use reusable containers that are picked up, deep cleaned, and then reused
- 100% of food that cannot be donated is composted

Waste Management and Diversion
- We provide collapsible reusable garbage cans that do not require any garbage bags to be used. They are used for garbage and recycling.
- Companies dump the garbage and recycling directly in the trucks with no bags — we pick up the cans the next morning, deeply disinfect them, and then reuse.
Repurposing and Recycling
We keep as much as possible out of landfills.
- We find creative solutions for repurposing
- Creative repurposing has included: donations to local charities such as GoodWill, Buy Nothing Groups, rubber gloves from food services repurposed as dog poop bags, parts of sets from movies donated to local public schools, and more.
- Hard-to-recycle items are recycled (chip bags, plastic bags, fabric scraps, etc.)

Artisanal Farm-to-Table Coffee & Tea Service
Coffee
- Our organic, ethical coffee supports sustainable farming, fair wages, and protects wildlife — pack your pantry with light to dark roast, decaf, flavored, probiotic, and more.
- Coffee is purchased from bulk stores and put into large reusable glass boxes.
- Coffee is served from reusable coffee dispensers — no disposable boxes with hidden layers of plastic and toxic materials, even when they appear to be cardboard or paper.
Tea
- We provide healthy loose teas such as pure matcha powder and jasmine — no bags, which often contain plastic bits.
- Tea is purchased from bulk stores and stored in large reusable glass boxes.
- Many teas use sprays and chemicals — ours are pure, with a variety of unique options including green and gunpowder, rose hip, different jasmines, and black teas.
Dairy Milk
- Cow milk is sourced from ethical and sustainable farms.
- Mass-production dairy farms use hormones, and treat cows and calves cruelly — small, family-owned farms provide healthier milk and better conditions (and it tastes better too).
- Milk is almost always provided in glass, refillable containers that are returned and reused by the dairy company.
Nut Milk
- Most commercial nut milks are filled with sugars and additives, despite being perceived as healthy.
- Ours are only filtered water and almonds — bought in reusable glass bottles whenever possible.
- We can make homemade nut milks with no extra additives, including unique options like peanut, cashew, pistachio, pumpkin seed, and watermelon seed.
Cups
We provide reusable cups and mugs. Paper and "eco-friendly" cups are coated in a thin layer of plastic — they cannot be recycled, and that layer holds toxins that can harm people and animals.
Extra Spices & Sweeteners
All in glass or aluminum reusable bottles when possible — cinnamon, cloves, real vanilla (bean or extract), pure maple syrup, local rooftop honey, healing honeys like manuka, pure cane sugar, and ghee butter.
